Have you ever wished you had a personal assistant to help you with tasks and make your life more convenient?

Well, that’s where ChatGPT comes in.

ChatGPT is a cutting-edge AI tool that can help you with all sorts of things, like generating personalised horoscopes based on your birth date and zodiac sign.

Creating unique and funny pickup lines for you on dating apps, writing personalised speeches for events like weddings or graduations, and even coming up with interesting conversation starters for social situations.

It can also help you plan your next trip with personalised travel itineraries based on your interests and budget.

ChatGPT can help you relax by generating personalised poetry, song lyrics, book and movie recommendations, and even jokes and comedy skits.

Do you want to hear something even more ridiculous?

I didn’t write a single word of the entire intro of this blog.

I added a one-sentence prompt into ChatGPT, and it wrote the intro for me. (See Below)

Are you still there?

Ok, so this is me — the author. I’m back again.

No wooden AI robot is writing the following few sentences.

Promise.

The thing ChatGPT can’t do is copy your voice. People have told me that when they read my work, they know it’s me without needing to read my name as the author.

I’ve developed a voice that AI can’t replicate.

For now, anyway.

Like any new technology, it’s worth doing your homework on ChatGPT because it’s the first AI tool that significantly impacts people.

It lands, and it’s petrifying and incredible.

Remember, it doesn’t do the work for you, so it still requires skill, and the skill lies in the prompts you add.

If ChatGPT gets a little better, which it will, it’ll make actual insight harder to spot.

The ability to fake expertise will go through the roof as ChatGPT improves.

And we could be in for an absolute sh*t show of internet plagiarism because there’s no way to police this unemotional machine.

I asked ChatGPT to give me 16 and a half use cases people could use it for but are only sometimes used.

Why 16 and a half?

So I could confuse the heck out of it.

It gave me 17. Now I’m confused, so the joke’s on me.

Here’s what it spat out.

Warning: If you try some of these, it’ll feel like you’re living in cheat mode.

I’m on the dating scene.

So I had a little play around with number 2, dating app pick-up lines — the least useful out of every use case for ChatGPT.

But I’m playing around with it and still discovering what this computer beast can do.

You’d never send those as they’re a bit too formal, so I added further prompts.

ChatGPT picks up and retains what you wrote in the thread, so you can continue to add prompts.

So I got a little funky.

Final Thoughts.

ChatGPT demonstrates high levels of fluency.

It’s scary.

I speak to people who are writers who have legitimate concerns.

Once these models become more sophisticated and can generate text almost indistinguishable from human writing, it may become increasingly difficult to tell the difference between real and fake information.

It’s also going to be a lot easier to fake expertise.

Some believe we’re going to be a nation of idiots.

And AI, in general, could have severe implications for the spread of misinformation and propaganda, as well as for issues related to privacy and security.

Imagine letting this thing loose on all of the information on the internet.

Yuck.

For now, it still requires your skill to use ChatGPT.

You have to get the prompts right because what AI can’t do is copy your unique voice.

Your voice is ultimately the thing that connects you to your audience.

An unemotional robot isn’t.
